The TP-Link UH700 USB 3.0 Powered Hub is the ultimate solution for those who need to connect multiple devices to their computer. The theoretical USB 3.0 speed is up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0, although actual speed depends on the computer, device and cables. The three ports on the right side support charging at up to 5V ⎓ 1.5A per port on the newer UH700 versions. The remaining ports provide standard USB 3.0 device power of up to 900mA. When charging several devices, the available power is shared; the total charging output may be limited to approximately 3A. The external adapter is important for running several power-hungry USB devices simultaneously, particularly on UH700 V1. The chipset varies by revision; listings identify VIA VL812 or RTS5411.
